[New Feature] Item Sales tax group at Product variant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Prior to this enhancement, the option to default item sales tax groups was available only at the product master level. Imagine a scenario where a product, let’s call it P, has variants V1 and V2, each with distinct tax information; previously, it wasn’t possible to define separate item sales tax groups for these variants.
